Delete Your PlayDay Account

You can request deletion of your PlayDay account and all associated data at any time. This page explains what's deleted, what's retained, and how to submit your request.

How to request deletion

Email us from the address associated with your PlayDay account and let us know you'd like your account deleted:

We'll confirm your identity, process the request, and let you know once it's complete. This is typically done within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Once your request is verified, we permanently delete:

• Your account credentials and login information
• Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
• Enrollment and intake form data, including child information, guardian and emergency contacts, and health details you submitted
• Photos, documents, and messages associated with your account
• Push notification tokens tied to your device

What we may retain

We may retain limited information where required by law or legitimate business need, such as:

• Billing and subscription records needed for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes
• Records a licensed daycare provider is legally required to retain under state childcare licensing regulations, even after a family's account is deleted

Any retained data is kept only as long as legally required and is not used for any other purpose.

Provider accounts

If you're a daycare provider, deleting your account also removes your roster, billing, and messaging data. Because childcare licensing records may be subject to separate retention requirements, we'll let you know at the time of your request if anything must be retained.
